Job Description:WeGive is seeking a talented and creative Content Marketer to join our team. As a Content Marketer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our content marketing strategy. You will be responsible for creating high-quality and engaging content that educates, inspires, and resonates with our target audience. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure consistent messaging and contribute to the overall success of our marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Create compelling and well-researched content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, and other forms of content.
  • Conduct thorough research on nonprofit and church-related topics, trends, and best practices to generate valuable and relevant content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, design, and product, to align content with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic visibility and drive website traffic.
  • Manage and update the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content across various channels.
  • Monitor content performance, analyze metrics, and derive actionable insights to optimize content strategies and improve engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, content marketing techniques, and emerging platforms to drive innovation and adopt new approaches.
  • Engage with the community by responding to comments, questions, and feedback on social media and other content platforms.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone of voice across all content assets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Content Marketer, Copywriter, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong command of grammar, style, and tone.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging, informative, and persuasive content.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for content optimization.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into easy-to-understand content.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling through various content formats.
  • Experience in the nonprofit or cause-driven sector is a plus.
