Ask your WeGive account manager for a 'token transfer request' email template that we send to the parent payment processor of your giving platform.

5-10 days.
For processors with data migrations teams, they will send all of your givers' payment data into your WeGive account for you, for free and automatically.

This timeline varies by processor.

Then,
Cancel Your Giving Platform.

10 minutes.
All of your givers' payment information has been imported to WeGive and tied to the correct people and existing recurring plans. You're ready to move from your old platform to WeGive without lifting a finger!

1-2 days.
For some customers on platforms with predatory data agreements (PushPay, MinistryBrands) their processor data migrations team will respond that they don't have your MID on record and cannot complete the migration for you.

Then,
Go Semi-Automated

10 minutes.
Tell your account manager that you were denied a token transfer so the WeGive team can prep your account for a semi-automated recurring plan transfer. Don't worry, because we have seen an average increase of 148% in recurring giving after 6 months of moving to our platform.

If you were denied a token transfer from Payeezy, let your WeGive account manager do these for you.

Turn on Recurring Confirmations

5 minutes.
Anyone with a recurring plan that signs in is prompted to 'confirm' their payment details on their existing plan, so we can automatically move them by turning it off in your existing platform.

Add a Button: "Migrate My Plan"

15 minutes.
Add a button on your website or giving page for anyone with an existing recurring plan to click and move their plan into WeGive and your account manager can turn it off in your existing giving platform.

Semi-Automated Optional...

Be proactive about the semi-automated migration from your existing giving platform and ask your account manager to set you up with these.

Migrate QR codes

Ask your account manager for QR codes that will automatically load up a screen for people with an existing recurring plan to migrate their recurring plan from your giving platform to WeGive by simply filling out one single payment method field.
